North Dakota State
University football will be on television a school record 10 times
this season including all five road games. NDSU director of athletic broadcasting/sales Jeremy Jorgenson made the announcement Monday.
“We are pleased to renew our television agreement with our
partner KVLY/KXJB. This is the most complete television package we have had. We
are excited to have coverage for 10 of our 11 football games including coverage
for all of our road games," said NDSU Director of Athletics Gene Taylor.
"We have four games covered outside of our region by
Fox College Sports, The Big Ten Network and two games on ESPN3. With our
strong relationship with KVLY/KXJB we have been able to expand our coverage
with a new partner in Midco Sports Network that will include several basketball
games.”
Road games at Minnesota (Big Ten Network) on Sept. 24, at Southern Illinois (ESPN3.com) on Oct. 8, the Dakota Marker game at South Dakota State (Midco Sports Network) on Oct. 22, Indiana State (ESPN3.com) on Nov. 5 and at Western Illinois (KXJB-TV/CBS-Fargo) will be broadcast.
“Valley News Live, KVLY and KXJB are proud to again this
year offer our viewers a schedule of live NDSU Bison football games. The
Bison always provide exciting football games and we love to provide our viewers
live local television sports,” said Jim Wareham, Valley News Live General Manager.
Three home games will be televised on the North Dakota NBC Network -- Sept. 10 with Saint Francis, Pa. (Trees Bowl), the annual homecoming Oct. 1 with Illinois State and Nov. 12 with Youngstown State. The Northern Iowa game (Harvest Bowl) will be televised by Fox College Sports Central and KXJB-TV (CBS-Fargo). The Missouri State game on Oct. 15 will be broadcast by Midco Sports Network.
