Cross Country: Did not compete.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner in cross country and three-year letterwinner in track at Bismarck High School...Four-time North Dakota State qualifier in cross country...Selected to the all-state team twice...Competed in the Nike Cross Country National meet in Portland, Ore. in 2008 and placed 190^th...On the track, member of the two-time North Dakota state champion 4x800 relay team...Member of the 4x800 relay team that placed third at the New Balance Nationals in a school record time of 7:36.62.

PERSONAL: Son of Jerome Jr. and Tensiva Hintz...Has two older brothers, Coty and Sean, and one younger brother, T.J...Also has two younger sisters, Breece and Shayna...Planning to major in electrical engineering.
