OFFENSE
QB Brock Jensen, North Dakota State

Brock Jensen completed 15 of 23 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns as
No. 1-ranked North Dakota State defeated No. 3 Youngstown State 48-7 on
Oct. 6 before a school record crowd of 19,065 at Gate City Bank Field.
Jensen completed scoring passes to
Zach Vraa with a 46-yard strike on
the flea-flicker with 4:23 left in the first quarter and a 16-yard pass
to
Ryan Smith with 51-seconds left in the second quarter. He reached
200-yards passing for the eighth time in his career.
DEFENSE
LB Tyler Williamson, Southern Illinois

Williamson
led Southern Illinois with seven solo tackles, an interception and a
sack in the Salukis' shutout of No. 9 Illinois State. Thrust into a
bigger role as the Dawgs battled in-game injuries, the sophomore made
big plays all over the field and also recorded two tackles for loss.
SPECIAL TEAMS
WR/RS Ryan Smith, North Dakota State

Ryan Smith returned a punt 76 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter as
No. 1-ranked North Dakota State defeated No. 3 Youngstown State 48-7 on
Oct. 6 before a school record crowd of 19,065 at Gate City Bank Field.
It was the second punt return for a TD for Smith, who went the distance
against South Dakota State last season. He also matched a career-high
with seven receptions for 82 yards and one touchdown, a 16-yard pass
from
Brock Jensen in the second quarter.
NEWCOMER
WR Fredson Salomon, Western Illinois
5-9, 150, Jr., Miami (Fla.) (ASA) (North Miami)
Salomon
recorded the Leathernecks' first 100-yard receiving game in a span of
11 games dating back to the 2011 contest at Indiana State (Terriun
Crump). Two of his three receptions went for touchdowns, finishing with
109 yards. Salomon entered the game with 92 yards on the season.
