ELMHURST, Ill.--North Dakota State University forward Lisa Bue collected her third Summit League Player of the Week honor this season after helping the Bison to two victories last week over IUPUI (65-60) and Western Illinois (63-42), both of which were in the top three in the standings.
Bue, a 5-foot-10 senior from Austin, Minn. (Austin H.S.), averaged 15.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5 assists per game, while shooting 50 percent (11-of-22) from the field, 75 percent (3-of-4) from behind the arc and a perfect 6-of-6 from the line.
Her 22-point, 10-rebound effort against Western Illinois was her fifth "double-double" of the season and the fifth time this season she scored more than 20 points. She also had a career-high six assists vs. IUPUI, as NDSU moved up to fourth place in the league standings.
